Perhaps it would have been sensible to work out what resources you need before agreeing the plan. But there is value in agreeing what needs to be done and then deciding on how you are going to get the resource to do it well. If we always started by worrying what we need, we might never get started.

b) There will be many more. When we think of the range of things we need to get something done, they usually break down into three sorts of resources:
Looking at your action plan, what are its resource implications? What have you got and what do you need? How are you planning to get the resources you need but don’t have? And are there any risks to getting the resources from particular sources? What is their agenda in helping you, in giving you their time, equipment or money? Check the risks are worth it in helping you achieve your goal. For example, if you were trying to get a community health project off the ground, you might think twice about accepting money from a cigarette or alcohol company.
